cannot access the events of silverlight project

I created a website and add a silverlight project using 'AddnewItem'. It worked successfully. When I re-open the website, the website won't display the silverlight project. I used File- Add- Add Existing Project, then - select my created Silverlight project. But, I cannot able access the events after doing it. Would you tell me how it show this error?

The updations in 'Mainpage.xaml' may not affect in the file 'silverlight application.xap'.

that after re-building i get the non-updated file.

I solved it by using..

Open my website. file - add- Existing project. To add a silverlight project

Next..

Select website- Addnew item- select silverlight project template- then show a window.

click on the radiobutton 'Use an existing application from this solution' - select our

silverlight application from the list box- OK.

Then a message ask to replace the existing  test page, click OK 

Note: If your website contains 'ClientBin' folder then delete the folder. Otherwise will happen some problems.
