Code formatting in the Editor

How can I format code in K-MUG Forum editor? Is there any option for [SOURCECODE] or [CODE] tags? Because when ever we post code, it becomes difficult to read, we may need to copy paste it to Visual Studio.

There is no code formatting at present in this forum.

Try this:

1.  Copy from IDE and paste in NotePad
2. Again Copy/Cut from Notepad and paste in K-Mug post window

If you are aware of any syntax highlighting plugin (stable one) for community server, Let me know. I can give try.

I am not sure we can use this.

There are some generic syntax highlighting plugins available. But I tried for kidoos.net once but the entire page performance was down.

Can I use Live writter for postings in K-MUG?

I dont think so Live writer is for blogs and not for forums AFAIK.

Windows Live Writer currently supports only blogs. Hope in future ...

Try this tool,simply select the code you want to copy and then select the Copy Source as HTML command from the right-click menu  www.jtleigh.com/CopySourceAsHtml

Thanks Renju for sharing the information. If you copy paste code from Visual Studio also we are able to get the Syntax highlighting, but it creates lot of HTML and ugly looks.

But there is some scripts available (please check the previous replies), that we only need to include in the Pages, so we can get the Syntax highlighting automatically. If you are using / used wordpress blogs, for syntax highlighting C# code simply put [SOURCE CODE="csharp"], it will highlight the C# code. I was asking for something like that.
