Webcam in Silverlight

I want to capture photos from Webcame on my web application. My manager suggests to use Flash. But I need to do some Action scripting. Can I use Silverlight for the same purpose?

silverlight 2. Does not support webcam/ I am not sure about silverlight 3. Vikram?

After googling and from the Sliverlight forum comments, I got the same reply. I checked the Sliverlight 3 features, but I can't find support for webcam. May be they will add later.

No official annoucement for Device support in Silverlight 3 yet. If not in version 3, kindly understand the limitations of CoreCLR of Silverlight, so security and various other concerns are there, so need to wait, right not I guess it is not also provided by any third party too.

Lets wait untill final annoucement of Silverlight 3 RTW

There is no direct support. Still can try some tricks as given below. Mainly we need the video capture and encoding.
